The organisation
Who we are
What ZMAM is
An Iraqi digital environment for people working in every digital field: software, design, content, cybersecurity, AI, networks, data and support. Members find a community, learning, work, tools and a verifiable identity; employers find Iraqi specialists they can check.
Who is behind it
- Founder: Ali Muwaffaq, an Iraqi developer. He holds final authority on the platform.
- Admins are appointed by the founder with specific permissions. Team leaders are appointed by the founder and sign the leadership charter (Volume X of the constitution).
How it is run
- The code of ZMAM projects is kept in the platform account only, and every member signs the "Work ownership and exit terms" at registration.
- An admin works only within the permission granted, and sensitive actions wait for the founder's approval before they run.
- Admin sign-in requires two-factor verification, and every admin action is recorded under its author and cannot be edited.
- No project, opportunity or document is published under ZMAM's name before admin review.
- A leader who breaks the charter has their workspace frozen and is removed by a written, reasoned decision that is recorded.
- Every member may take a complaint straight to the founder without going through their leader.
What is not finished yet
- Hosting inside Iraq is being built with local partners. Our data is currently in Frankfurt, Germany.
- We are at the start of the road: the member count is small, and we show our numbers as they are.
